Caledon K3
Embark on one of the most exhilarating Zipline`s in the world. At 3.2 Km long, this is the world's single longest zipline!!
The trail into the mountain is a very scenic but serious 4x4 road. The 7km drive takes an estimated 55 minutes from base camp to the "nest", our departure platform on the mountain. The trail is an amazing escape into one of the most unique fynbos kingdoms, teaming with wildlife such as a variety of antelope, lizards, and an abundance of bird life. The mountain is also home to the only known population of the Critically Endangered Rough Moss Frog.
At the peak, a short but steep hike will take you to the Nest. Once you’re clipped in on the cable, off you go to a 3.2km of sheer speed and fun!! The speed descending from the mountain peak could be as much as 120 Km/h. As the ground rushes past you in the first 100 meters you might still feel very comfortable. About +- 200 Meters from the Nest, you start flying into the air as the ground drops away at +- 500m below you, providing you with an experience you will never forget!
